During the Kadamba reign, fictional feudatory land Bangra’s ruler King Vijayendra, on his venture to kantara meets his final fate in the mystical forest. On witnessing this, his son Rajashekara seals the borders. Later Prince Kulashekara reopens by massacring them. Protagonist Berme, seeking prosperity, crosses the divide & sparks a clash of faith, power, destiny between the Kingdom and Nature. Kantara: Chapter 1 is a Period Action Thriller film Written and Directed by Rishab Shetty, and produced by Vijay Kiragandur, under Hombale Films.
