Major is an Indian biographical film, about the life story of Sandeep Unnikrishnan, an officer in the Indian Army serving in the elite Special Action Group of the National Security Guards. He was martyred in action during the November 2008 Mumbai attacks. The movie is directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka starring Adivi Sesh as Major Unnikrishnan. The movies is produced by Mahesh Babu under combined venture of G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment, Sony Pictures and A+S Movies Production companies.
